The 37. International/German Morini-Meeting from the 15.-18.

Post by hombre » 18 Dec 2016, 00:22

will take place in the north of Germany about 40 km south-west of Hamburg at the
Schullandheim Forsmannstraße in Regesbostel, Hollinder Weg 15, 21649 Regesbostel (North 53.354937, East 9.662969)
It´s easy to find: about 1 km north of the Motorway A1 (Bremen-Hamburg) between the exits 45/Hollenstedt and 46/Heidenau

A usual, you can come along with a tent. This year there is also the possibility to sleep in a bed in 3 or 4 bed-rooms (you have to bring along your sleeping bag). We have only 32 beds to lent, so if you want one of those, you have to reserve quickly!

There will be a flatrate for eating and drinking. The price is per day/night:
28 € with a tent
37 € with a bed
22 € for those who sleep outside (in hotels)

I will inform you, when there are no more beds available.

To sign in please per transfer to
Norbert Schütt: IBAN: DE07 5001 0517 5419 9243 45, BIC: INGDDEFFXXX
Usage: Treffen17, Thu,Fr,Sa (the nights you will stay), Tent or Bed
Depositor: complete name

Additonally to the transfer, only if you want to reserve a bed: to be able to confirm your booking please send a @mail to angela.sanchez@web.de

A previous sign in only is required if you want to reserve a bed. Anyhow it would make it easier for us to plan the catering.

Moin everybody!

I´m Norbert from the german part of our great family, living in Lübeck. I was sure that I once was a member of this forum years ago, but it seems that this was not right
Anyhow here I am. I don´t understand your motherlanguage, only speek german, english and spanish, but I think english will do.

I´ve not found the place to introduce myself, so I´m doing it right here:
The first time I saw a Morini was in 1978 visiting the Grand Prix at the old Nürburgring. It was a Tremezzo Sport leaning to a tree in the wood in our neighbourhood where I was camping with some friends. It hit me like a flash! I was 20 years old and didn´t have much idea. I asked my friend with the mouth wide open "what the hell ist this beauty?" And he answered "Wow that´s a jewel, but too complicated for us, there are valves and stuff like that!". We all were running two stroke motos, all my friend RD and I had a 250GT Suzuki that was realy fast. The second Morini I saw in my life was a 78 Tremezzo sport when I bought it with 20 kkm on the clock two years later. So I became the first of my friends with a 4stroke motor. I had it about 5 o 6 years, travelling to Ireland, France, Sicilia and of corse to the GPs in Germany and all the years to Assen. In this 6 years I never met another morinidriver, didn´t know that in this times already existed a Moriniscene in Germany. It ended up half way to Berlin in the middle of the RDA with a broken gearbox. Did not have any money and didn´t dare to open the motor myself. So I sold it some years later when I decided to go down south to spain for a cuple of years.
Years later in winter 1999/2000, I had returned to germany with a spanish girl that now is my wife, the first time since more than 15 years I saw a Morini 500 in front of a Kawasaki dealer for ssale. It was in bad condicion but the fever returned! I´ve thought that my motocycle time had been over.15 years without a bike. Three weeks later I bought Rocinante a ´81 350K sport. During the years I modified it a bit (rearsets, dobledisc, Borranis, Fridegotto swing arm, Halbschalenvekleidung, and a 501 motor) but without restoring her, just tecnical mantainence. We did about 110kkm since then, several trips to Italy and Spain included. Since more than 10 years I´m concerned with building up Dulcinea. This dream of mine consists in a very lean Tremezzo with a Benelli Tornado drum brake, no plastic, frame and swingarm red and the rest pure metal and of corse a lightly tuned 501 motor. If you want to see it, you have to come to our meeting this year, that will take place very close to the netherlands. I really hope that I will finish it till then
And if everything works out from now on there also probably will be at last the Sbezziale!

Ciao Norbert, great intro, the Special already looks great ;)

I remember going to my first Morini meeting in 1988 (or '87?) also near Hamburg, but I never made it, I was a bit to self-assured about my rider-capacities and ended 4 days in a hospital in Löningen...
Maybe time for a retry with better pictures ;)

Hi everybody,

we are getting closer to the event, so there´s a lot of planing to be done.

up to now there have signed
Thursday 36
Friday 56
Saturday 60

There are allways a lot of people coming without previor confirmacion. This year we have the special circumstance that the fishhead-chapter will do everything ourselfs, from cookin to baking the cakes. So it would be useful to know more or less how many people will come to plan the shopping. It would be a help for us, if you just could declare here in the forum that you are willing to come, so we can estimate a bit better how many food we have to buy

The way is the objective!

Mooie opkomst zo te zien Ray! In Morano heb ik op een gegeven ogenblik iets van 100 motoren geteld waarvan 85% Morini's (en dat was tijdens de toertocht).
Er wordt dus nog flink gereden op die Merinies! :)
