Hi,

I bought this beauty at auction, knowing nothing about it.
I live in Den Haag, and wondering if any Enthusiast lives nearby and wants to give me some insight.
48 cc.
I'll continue to research online etc.
Cheers

Hi,

01 September sounds great, but I'll be in Scotland (but maybe I should come home early if it means knowing my bike!).

Right now I'm struggling to even start it.
"350 v -twin" (you) of this forum has been helpful with regards to basics, check the fuel, spark, compression...
My experienced motorbiking friend was here today, tried to bump start it, but still no go.

There is no spark when doing the "hold it against metal of the bike" test.
I put in a new one, still nothing... so now wondering how to address that.

Cheers,
Jen

Hello, if there is no spark, please check:

1. Cable from engine to sparkplug. Where the cable screws into coil (engine side), there can be oxidation. If so clean oxidation and cut off 1cm from cable (=HT lead).
2. Check cable/sparkplug cap for connection and possible oxidation.
3. Check gap on top of sparkplug (where the spark should appear). Gap shoud be 0.5mm. If much more the energy produced by the coil might be too low.
4. Possible coil failure. If so, coil should either be replaced or rewound.
5. Gap of set of contacts inside the alternator (under flywheel. Gap should be (at maximum lift) max. ...... (not sure 0.4mm???).
6. Failing condensator under flywheel. Just replace it with a universal condensator. If there is a spark between the set of contacts under the flywheel, then your condensator is shot/dead.

On 1st of September we could travel together to Beusichem. There will be a Corsarino expert.

I love it! Used to have a similar one but with different colors in my garage in property in Germany. Drove it several years and had almost no complaints. If you have any questions I would be happy to help you if I can.
