Re: Tyres

Yes it is the one you mention. The Sbarazzino qualifies for entry so once I finish my bike I will look at entering it with a couple of friends. One of them has a Gilera Guibileo 98 which also qualifies and the other one is still looking for an old motorcycle to work on. The priority for now is to ge...

Re: Tyres

Thanks 350, I will take that onboard.
If I was to do the Moto giro would you use a better tyre or would something more traditional be ok?

Re: Tyres

Thanks guys, this is really useful information for me to consider. I have seen these on eBay, I have never heard of them and I'm not sure if they are any good as they are only £38 for the pair  but they certainly look right for the bike. http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem...

Re: Preferred fork oil for Sbarazzino

350V,

Just seen this today, thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I will do some digging and see where I end up. I was hoping that someone on the forum with an older Morini might have suggested an alternative that they use on their motorcycles

Preferred fork oil for Sbarazzino

Hello,

Can anyone advise me if there is a particular grade of fork oil for the Sbarazzino or will any fork oil suffice?

Any recommendations would be appreciated :)

Thanks,

Andy

Re: Fork removal

Update:
After applying heat with a heat gun I managed to get the yolk off and strip the forks down. The bike is now ready to be prepared for painting :D

Re: Fork removal

Thanks 350, I have tried doing what you have said but the only movement is in the one at the rear of the photo. The two at the front just will not budge :(

Fork removal

Hi,

I am having difficulty removing the forks from my Sbarazzino, I have tried tapping the top plate with a hammer (see photo) but I am afraid to use too much force in case I damage something.

Does anyone have any idea how I should do this task?

many thanks :)

Re: sbarrazino

Thanks for the instruction manual Tom, that will be very handy I am sure. I managed to get the bike going without messing with the points, it just needed a new plug and HT lead and away it went. Sounds sweet as a nut :)
