Re: question about crankshaft

Hello Antti, welcome to the Forum! I have no experience with Excaliburs, but as far as I can judge it, it should work, as the crankcase is identical. BUT, you should have a crankcase of the later Sport/Touring models, because earlier models have a large ball-bearing on the crankshaft. Probably "Homb...

Re: Flywheel puller for Kanguro 1985

Hello Pauli, welcome to the Forum! As for your questions/remarks: 1.Just want to make sure - there is a comment "to suit 3½ & 500 Electric start" Is it so (as I believe) that the "Electric start" refers ONLY to 500 and NOT to 3½? Later 3½ models have an electric start, even the Kanguro X3 and Coguar...

Re: Preferred fork oil for Sbarazzino

Good & bad news: Good news: I found the answer, Bad news: the manual mentions "Mobilfluid 200" della Mobil Oil Italiana. Don't think Mobilfluid 200 still exists. It was a transmission oil. For the later 350/500 models a similar "impossible" fork oil was stated in the manual. Perhaps a cross-referenc...

Re: Koppeling wreed

Re: Fork removal

Perhaps carefully tap the upper yoke upwards. Then you'll be able to - again carefully - tap the rest downwards?!

(That's how I did this with my 3½ when I had to replace the steering bearings).

Re: WANTED Speedometer cable

Yes, I have an address in Italy. Father runs the business, but does not speak a word of English. Fortunately the daughter does. Very nice people :D Don't forget to send them details on: - overall lenght, - size of the 'square' part which goes into the speedo and the size of the 'nut' on the speedo, ...

My guess: yes. Worth a try. I bet both Corsaro and Sbarazzino have the same speedo.

Re: Hello from new member

Like TinTin mentioned, normally Venhill has a wide variety of ready made cables, however ready made cables for a 60 year old bike will be difficult to find. Therefore you should make your own clutchcable from a universal cable. Hope you understand my instructions. If not, I am sure you'll find an in...
