Re: op zoek naar info

Ja is een originele Moto Morini 3½ uit ong. 1980.

Re: Which oil do you like best for your Moto Morini

Allright! Sounds great!

BTW, I forgot to mention: in a motorcycle you cannot use car engine oil. If you would, the clutch starts slipping. For a motorbike with a wet clutch always use motorcycle oil. It contains certain "dopes" to prevent a slipping clutch.

Re: Which oil do you like best for your Moto Morini

In the ownersmanual of the Sbarazzino it states:

- Mobiloil D in Summer
- Mobiloil AF in Winter

for the Corsaro 125cc it is:

- Castrol XXL in Summer
- Castrol XL in Winter

No idea what the modern equivalent is of these oils, but make sure it is a mineral oil, not a synthetic one.

Re: Franco morini M3 blok

Re: Kanguro Valentini front fender

Hello Peter, welcome to the forum! (BTW: was in Vienna last year, beautiful city, my favourite, impressive!! :D :D ) Valentini parts are extremely rare North of the Alps. By "accident" I found a Valentini fueltank for my Kanguro X1, but my guess is that it's the only one in the Netherlands. So a Val...

Have a look at Wilbers.de (the best, but not cheap).

Re: Shock.absorber spring (rear)

These original shocks were not top-of-the-bill.
My bike had 24,000km's behind her, but the original shock was already replaced

Re: Shock.absorber spring (rear)

Normally, if you go to an expert, they can fix this shock.

I do have a replacement which I am willing to sell, but it would probably also need an overhaul.

Re: 1968 Corsarino won't start :(

Hi, see previous message about no spark. Even "wrong" oil can cause the clutch to slip, which means the flywheel (part of the alternator) won't rotate, thus won't generate the electric energy necessary for a spark. Car engine oil contains certain "dopes" for non friction, yet in a motorcycle with we...

Re: 1968 Corsarino won't start :(

The switch connects to mass if you switch the engine off. (After it started grrr). If it continues to connect to mass, the bike will never fire up, because the energy for the spark is lead to, . . . . mass. In other words, the circuit is then short cut. Fueltap looks allright. Does it work nomally? ...

Re: Help with my New 1963 Moto Motorini Corasino

Hello, if there is no spark, please check: 1. Cable from engine to sparkplug. Where the cable screws into coil (engine side), there can be oxidation. If so clean oxidation and cut off 1cm from cable (=HT lead). 2. Check cable/sparkplug cap for connection and possible oxidation. 3. Check gap on top o...
